The P2P Syncro team arrived in Philadelphia on June 3rd, 2019 to attend the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) International Convention. Each year, more than 17,000 people around the world gathered to exchange ideas and foster partnerships at BIO. From genome editing to microbiomes, from drug pricing to digital integration, the conference brought together a wide spectrum of topics.
 
Walking in the gigantic Pennsylvania Convention Center, the energy of the next generation biotherapeutics can be felt everywhere. When the search for new treatments is based on a true unmet need, it becomes a driving force for change in patient care and it challenges the existing healthcare system. Although we cannot predict which target will lead to a breakthrough therapy and what disease area will benefit from the cutting-edge technology, we know that there will not be a dull moment working in the medical education field.
